THERE'S A GIRL AT THE DELI
         by Oliver Brown

mmmmmmm

There's a girl at the deli
I think she works there every day
She makes me my egg sandwich
And she doesn't let me pay
She gives me those goose bumples
Though we don't have much to say
I think I'll ask her to the movies
Cuz that's the old-fashioned way.
mmmmmmm

Now should it be a horror picture
So she'll grab me when she's scared?
Or how 'bout a sappy romance
So to her my soul will bear
Oh she gives me those goose bumples
And butterflies way down there
My heart is pining for acceptance
Oh Cupid please don't sit and stare.

You should see her nose scrunch up when she laughs
You should see her toes turn in
When she cuts my sandwich in half.

I can imagine us together
Walking to the picture show
With her hand in my back pocket
And my goosebumps overflow
Oh she gives me those goose bumples
And I got to let her know
That my heart is all a flutter
And she makes gold from lousy coal.

You should see her little smirk when I say
One egg sandwich that's to go
Although I'd rather stay.

Someday I'll ask for something different
'Is there something else to try?'
She'll ask if I like peanut butter
And she'll look me in the eye
I'll say 'I like it fine with jelly
Especially on rye'
And then she'll make a PJ sandwich
And on her break we'll take a drive.

You should see her in that smock, her hair tied back
I long to see her hair hang down
And see her dressed in black.

There's a girl at the deli
I'd like to take her to the prom
You see, I am quite submissive
And I think she is a dom.
mmmmmmm
